Wesley Stevenson
Wesley Stevenson, director and piano instructor for MorningStar Music Learning Center, has studied piano since the age of 5. He specializes in teaching contemporary and traditional styles of piano and incorporates music theory to provide students with the foundational understanding of the music they perform. He has studied piano performance at the College of Southern Maryland and Music Theory at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Adrian Nother
Adrian has been a guitar educator for over ten years. His personal music education included classical studies at Old Dominion University with Mike Murphy. Adrian completed his courses at ODU where he was involved in many aspects of musical studies including music theory, sight, ear, and voice training, composition, and conducting for the ODU orchestra. He was also a member of the ODU classical guitar ensemble.
Chris Batson
Chris Batson has had eleven years of teaching experience. He attended Berklee College of Music Certificate program in 1998 and attended Pima College as a music major previous to that. Chris has studied with Steven Sauls, a professor at Pima College. He is also studying with Pat Martino, jazz guitarist and Blue Note recording artist. Mr. Batson has made several recordings, including the "Jazz Guitarist" and the Tidewater Entertainers Association Compilation CD/Sky Pilots Records in November 2000. He currently is teaching at the Governor's School for the Arts since 2005.
